How it works

1. Tell us about your appointment. Call or email with your location, preferred date, and the number of signers. Let us know whether we will be meeting at an office, a board meeting, or a management company location.
2. Review the fees and confirm a time. We charge $15 per notarized signature, plus a travel fee quoted up front. There are no hidden fees. We schedule appointments between 8 AM and 7 PM daily.
3. Meet us with your documents and identification. Have each signer present with acceptable identification and complete documents. We verify identity and perform the requested notarization. Ask us about identification requirements before the appointment if you have questions.

Appointments for community management companies

If you manage several communities or have recurring notarization needs, contact us to discuss appointment timing. Tell us how often you expect to need a visit and where your signers will meet.

For appointments involving several signers, share the expected number of notarized signatures and your preferred dates. If your request involves more than one location, include each address. These details help us discuss scheduling and quote travel fees before you book.

Do you come to board meetings?

Yes. We travel to board meetings by appointment in Orange County, Long Beach, and the Los Angeles area. Share the meeting location and preferred time when you contact us.

How are fees calculated?

We charge $15 for each notarized signature, plus a travel fee quoted up front. For example, four notarized signatures cost $60, plus the quoted travel fee.

What should we prepare?

Have complete documents ready and arrange for each signer to attend with acceptable identification. Bring any notarization instructions provided with the documents. We can answer questions about identification requirements before your visit.

HOA election inspector inquiries

Dionne Buchanan welcomes inquiries about serving as an independent inspector of elections for California homeowners associations, subject to eligibility and availability. Contact us to discuss your association's needs and request a case-by-case quote.

California Civil Code Section 5110 includes notaries public among eligible independent third parties. An inspector cannot be a director, a candidate for director, or related to either. An inspector also cannot currently be employed by or under contract with the same association for paid services other than election-inspector work. We cannot accept election-inspector work for an association where we currently provide other paid services, including notary services. Before accepting an assignment, we review our independence and the association's election rules.

Election-inspector work is separate from notarization. Fees are quoted case by case; the notary fees on this page do not price an election-inspector assignment.
